We are honored to have had spent some time over a Skype conversation with the lovely Zoe Wild from Bliss Generation and Wild Life Coaching. She shares her inspirational spiritual journey that started with and atheist family upbringing on the East Coast to the film industry in L.A. to being a Buddhist nun in Burma and back to sharing the Dharma in the US.
Other topics of discussion:
Making practice practical and useful is what it is all about. Having found true bliss and self-love before trying to teach it. The best way to engage and have an authentic lesson from a teacher starts with a question. Using interaction with animals as direct feedback for how we are projecting authentic energy. Is manifesting different the surrendering? Creating our own world without the use of ego and the potential traps of “The Secret”. Exploring the question, “How is there room for intension in a space of no-self”? The spiritual path does take you where the ego thinks it’s going to. Ultimately, we are not in control of anything. But relatively we are here to play with our experience. Resting and action are NOT mutually exclusive. Discussing semantics; joy is not the same as happiness. Not relating spiritual peak experiences to be the goal, all the while allowing the path to be one of joy. Finding the love for your practice is like finding to love to your partner. Doing a gratitude practice to help bring more joy into our path. Not having delusions about reality but still seeing the importance of joy. Only place you can find security and stability is within. Love, be and except yourself. Allow your joy, for Christ-sake. Wake up and enjoy life.

Inspiration – Making life your practice and your practice your life…
In this podcast we will be discussing some common opportunities to apply your practice off the cushion. Here are a couple of talking points listed below:
It is not so much about changing the content of your life, it's taking your life AS the path. Can facebook be a spiritual practice? Ways to make facebook a practice through the method of addition versus subtraction. The power of prayer to strengthen your path and potentially heal others. Making our actions intentional instead of habitual. Getting creative to use what you have to strengthen your spiritual practice. Finding music that inspires you spiritually. Making your sex more about loving and make it more about your partner. You create problems for yourself when you separate your spiritual life from your regular life. Bring your attention to your activities, especially one’s you tend to zone out on (e.g., television, porn, etc.) Feel around in the experience of sex and notice that there is no boundaries. By treating certain things as sacred, you can turn anything into a spiritual practice. The point of having an alter is to feed your intension to move towards awake qualities by making offerings to the aspects of yourself you consider enlightened. When you give to something, it shows what is important to you. Having a teacher and asking them to help you is saying a lot about your intension. If you want to be happy and full-filled in your life but you don't even know what that means to you, then how the fuck do you think you will achieve it?
Damien’s formula for happiness, "Become an expert at something in which you have a heart connection." Take your spiritual practice as far as you can by being creative in your activities. Learn to surf on the tidal wave of habitual patterns. Find your way to personal happiness and then share it with others. Do not make your preferences your identity.
